Pakistan rejects Indian propaganda against CPEC and occupied Kashmir

India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement on February 6 in which it claimed that Pakistan and China had reached an agreement on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and occupied Kashmir. Pakistan on Thursday rejected the propaganda issued by the MEA’s spokesperson on the CPEC and occupied Kashmir.

India’s persistent propaganda against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was strongly rejected by the Foreign Office, which released a statement saying that it had shared irrefutable evidence of India’s sinister campaign to sabotage CPEC through its dossiers released in 2020 and 2021.

Foreign Office stated that “there is strong evidence of Indian involvement in recent sinister attempts to stir up unrest in Balochistan by supporting anti-state elements.” It also stated that Naval Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav is “a living and irrefutable proof of how India has been attempting” to sponsor and patronize subversive activities in Pakistan and the region.

According to the statement, neither the facts of history nor the legal status of the Jammu & Kashmir dispute can be altered by India’s baseless claims over the Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir  Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to the Foreign Office spokesman, “IIOJK has never been and will never be an integral part of India.” He also condemned unilateral actions taken on 5 August 2019 that are aimed at changing the internationally recognized disputed status of the occupied territory of Kashmir.

It was also stated by Pakistan’s foreign office that the country will continue to provide all possible assistance to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle against India’s illegal occupation.

In his words, “rather than resorting to false and misleading assertions that will ultimately fail, India must vacate its illegal occupation of the disputed territory, immediately reverse its illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019,” and vacate the disputed territory.
