Windsor Castle is expected to take over by Prince William and Kate Middleton

When Prince Charles succeeds as King, it has speculated that Prince William and Kate Middleton will assume control of Windsor Castle. After becoming King, Charles plans to move into Buckingham Palace and make it his flat above the shop.

The royal couple will ultimately inherit Windsor Castle but they want to maintain their home and office at Kensington Palace until that time. The world’s oldest and biggest inhabited castle dates back more than a thousand years.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s senior schools have searched for in west London by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The relocation to Windsor Castle makes absolute sense for the Prince William and Kate Middleton.

It has rumoured last year that William and Kate were seriously contemplating moving to Windsor. Moreover, Windsor will also put them closer to Kate’s relatives in Bucklebury, which is only a short drive away.

Furthermore, Anmer Hall made sense while William was a helicopter pilot and it was handy for Christmas at Sandringham. It doesn’t really function now. Windsor is a good middle ground between being too far away for weekends and being too close. They’re taking a look around to see what’s available.
