It has revealed that Kristen Stewart nominated for an Oscar for her depiction of Princess Diana in Pablo Larraine’s Spencer. Although the news came as a surprise to some, Pablo Larraine’s directorial debut at the Venice Film Festival last year.
Stewart has passed over for SAG and BAFTA awards for her performance. She has also nominated for the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress.
While spending Christmas with Prince Charles and their children at Sandringham in 1991, Diana realises the magnitude of her failing marriage.
“I have really pleased when I saw this. She’s doing well. The fact that she has now recognised for her efforts is a great accomplishment for me”, Twitter user said. “This isn’t her first Oscar-worthy performance by a long mile,” remarked another admirer.
There have nine other actors nominated for Oscar on Tuesday for the first time including Kristen Stewart and Ariana DeBose, Jessie Buckley, Aunjanue Ellis, Ciarán Hinds and Troy Kotsur.
