Petrol to hike by Rs 7 per litre from February 1

Petrol prices in Pakistan may rise by Rs. 7 per litre from February 1, 2022. According to media reports, diesel prices will fall by Rs. 10 per litre.

The Finance Ministry will make the ultimate decision after consulting Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The new Petrol Prices in Pakistan will take effect on February 1, 2022 and last until the end of the month. This will push the petrol price in Pakistan over Rs. 150 per litre, an all-time high in the country’s history.

On the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government increased petrol prices in Pakistan during the second half of January 2022. The current Petrol Price in Pakistan is Rs. 147.83 per litre, Rs. 144.62 for High-Speed Diesel, and Rs. 116.48 for Light Diesel Oil (LDO).
