Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his appreciation for the appointment of a special representative by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to deal with Islamophobia.
Imran Khan expressed his appreciation for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s strong condemnation of Islamophobia and his proposal to create a special representative to battle this contemporary scourge in a message posted to his personal Twitter account.
“His timely call to action resonates with what I have long argued. Let us join hands to put an end to this menace,” he said.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau previously said in a Twitter message: “Islamophobia is unacceptable. Full stop.”
It is imperative, he stated, that they put an end to this hatred and make their communities more welcoming to Muslim Canadians. “To assist with this, we propose to appoint a Special Representative on Islamophobia.”
Moreover Earlier this, Prime Minister Khan praised Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement, in which he stated that blasphemy does not qualify as freedom of expression.
“I welcome President Putin’s remark, which reaffirms my message that disrespecting our Holy Prophet PBUH is not “freedom of expression,” Prime Minister Imran Khan stated in a Twitter message.
His conclusion was that “we Muslims — particularly Muslim leaders — must communicate this message to leaders of the non-Muslim world in order to combat Islamophobia.”
