The Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst has signed for cast in writer-director Alex Garland’s next futuristic action film ‘Civil War’. However, film’s release date has not declared yet.
According to reports, “DNA’s Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich and Gregory Goodman will the producers of the picture. The film will distribute worldwide by A24, which is known for films such as ‘The Florida Project’, ‘Midsommar’ and ‘Hereditary’. Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Cailee Spaeny will also appear in the film.
DNA had collaborated with Garland on films such as ‘Ex Machina’, ‘Annihilation” and ‘Men’. Whereas, George Clooney’s ‘Three Kings’, the Eminem-starrer ‘8 Mile’, the Tom Hanks-led ‘Captain Phillips’ and the criminal drama ’22 July’ are just a few of the films that Goodman has produced in the past.
Kirsten Dunst approved for the cast of ‘Civil War’ finally. She garnered a nomination for a SAG award for her critically lauded portrayal as Rose Gordon in the Jane Campion-directed film ‘The Power of the Dog’. The western psychological thriller based on Thomas Savage’s 1967 novel of the same name. It includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
