LEAs arrest two men who helped terrorists in Lahore blast

In a significant development in the investigation into the Lahore blast, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested two facilitators who helped terrorists in the Anarkali explosion.

In the early hours of Friday morning, according to police sources, the Punjab police’s counter-terrorism unit apprehended two individuals and transferred them to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

In a statement, they stated that “the facilitators would be interrogated over their terror network and those who carried out the Lahore blast.”

Earlier in the day, it was announced that the law enforcement officials (LEAs) had identified the culprits in the blast in Lahore’s Anarkali market using CCTV video and had generated sketches of the suspects in the blast.

“The terrorist who planted a bag at the blast site was in communication with his handler,” the authorities stated, adding that the terrorists had been identified using surveillance footage from the scene.
