According Pakistan Express News, the Islamabad High Court dismissed Fidaullah’s suit demanding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s disqualification. He also asked his constituency’s MNAs to file a petition.
The court dismissed the petition seeking Prime Minister Imran Khan’s disqualification as a member of the Assembly and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 .
The court stated in a written decision that such petitions are not in the public interest. The court ordered the petitioner to deposit the money in the government-funded lawyer fund.
In his disqualification appeal of the Prime Minister, Fidaullah, a Lakki Marwat resident, said Imran Khan had indicated in a statement that he had 15 MNAs. In my request, I demanded Imran Khan Niazi’s disqualification.
