Viagra saved the life of a COVID-19 patient

British doctors used Viagra to save a nurse who was gravely harmed by Covid 19. But this was an experiment with a female nurse’s consent.

Monica Almeida, 37, a nurse at Lincolnshire County Hospital, had the corona immunisation last year but got sick on October 31, 2021.

Then, on November 9, she was admitted to the same hospital where she worked. But she had already signed a consent form allowing a new treatment to be attempted on her.

After being brought to the hospital, she fell into a coma on December 16.

Doctors chose Viagra as a last resort since prior study revealed it could help treat severe Covid 19 problems.

The basic aim of Viagra, also known as Sildenafil, is to relax the lungs’ veins and increase blood flow.

Due to its similar qualities, Viagra was supposed to be potential in lessening Covid 19 severity, but no patients have been tried yet.

Monica Almeida became the first patient to use Viagra for Covid 19.

Viagra was administered to them directly through their throat, reaching their abdomen and entering their bloodstream.

Soon his condition began to improve, as did his respiration and blood oxygen levels.

After a week, he regained consciousness, but was hospitalised for two weeks owing to extreme weakness.

While she has recovered from the complete defeat of Corona, she still has a weakness that may take two to three months to subside.

Monica thanked both Viagra and her hospital for saving her life in a local Lincolnshire newspaper.
