Nasla Tower Case: ACE Officer Suspended For Arresting DG KDA

According to Nasla Tower Case News, Ghulam Abbas Memon, the Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), has been suspended from his position as a result of the arrest of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director General Asif Ali Memon on corruption charges.

In addition, a notification was made in this regard.

According to the notification, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Sukkur Ahmed Ali Sheikh has been appointed as the new deputy director for Karachi East Zone. Ghulam Abbas Memon, the previous deputy director for Karachi East Zone, has been suspended from his position.

Asif Memon, the Director-General (DG) of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), was detained on corruption accusations on Thursday by the Anti-Corruption Karachi.

In its most recent operations, the Anti-Corruption Karachi East Zone team apprehended KDA DG Asif Memon and KDA deputy director Atif and lodged a criminal complaint against both of them.

It should be mentioned that both policemen have been arrested in connection with corruption investigations. According to reliable sources, both officials have been the subject of corruption-related complaints.

Anti-corruption officials have stated that both policemen will be interrogated about the allegations of wrongdoing against them.


In the meantime, legal action has been taken against the officials who permitted the construction of the Nasla Tower in Karachi.

The Ferozeabad police department filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the builder of Nasla Tower, as well as officials from the Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society and the plot’s owner, alleging negligence.
