Messaging App Telegram has added new feature in the App added support of quack message reactions, in-App Translations and Text spoilers. In order to keep users’ communications safe and secure, encrypted messaging service Telegram has begun rolling out its most recent version of its iPhone and iPad apps, which includes a variety of new capabilities such as message answers, translation, buried content, and more.
Users may now double touch on a message bubble and a little thumbs-up emoji will show at the bottom of that message. A user may modify the emoji for this rapid reply in the app under Settings > Stickers and Emoji > Quick Reaction. To check more reactions tap and hold on a message bubble.
Telegram is now rolling out functionality for “Spoiler Alert” messages that obscure out certain chunks of text until a user clicks on the option.
Now one may translate any communication into another language, straight in the app. Enabling Translation in Settings > Language adds a dedicated Translate button to the context menu when choosing a message. One may also omit any languages you speak fluently – which will conceal the translate button for such messages.
Translation is available on all Android handsets that support Telegram, however on Apple devices, you must be running iOS 15 or above.
The ability to generate themed QR codes for any person who have a public username, as well as for groups, channels, and bots is another new feature introduced this month.
Tap the new QR code icon next to the username of a person (or from a chat’s details page), pick the colours and pattern that match best, then print, post or share your QR code to other applications.
