Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, stated on Monday that his party will launch a protest movement against the government of PTI on January 5, beginning with a public rally in Lahore, the capital of Punjab Province and the party’s previous stronghold.
The PPP leader made the announcement while speaking at a public gathering organized in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to commemorate the 14th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, who was murdered in 2007.
“The PTI government’s time has come to an end. “It is past time to send the existing government packing,” Bilawal declared in his speech.
“The worst economic policies of the PTI administration have wrecked the country,” the PPP leader remarked, referring to the incumbent government’s economic policies. We believe that granting them additional time would not be beneficial to the country.”

In addition, the PPP leader urged party members to prepare themselves and be prepared to fight against the federal government, stating that “war has been declared.”

After the next general elections, the party chairman asserted, “the PPP will form a government in the center and in all of the country’s provinces.”
Asif Ali Zardari, the former president and co-chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), in his brief remarks, also criticized the existing government for the country’s soaring inflation.
