People should invest in Afghanistan: FM Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi

At the OIC meeting in Islamabad, Afghan Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi said people should come and invest in Afghanistan.

A strong government means there is complete peace and order in Afghanistan. When Amir Khan Muttaqi spoke to the media after the 17th Extraordinary Session of Council of Foreign Ministers on Afghanistan in Islamabad, he said: “The government is in charge of everything.”

Moreover, he said that he met with the foreign ministers of the Islamic countries that took part in the OIC meeting.

The Taliban made rules for women’s rights. This is one of the conditions that must have to meet before the US can lift sanctions on Afghanistan. Women in Afghanistan didn’t have a problem. If there was a problem, he said, it was in the news.

Imran Khan Speech at OIC Meeting:

Imran Khan said that Afghanistan had been through more in the last few decades than any other country. In the last 40 years, the country had been wracked by wars and corruption and half of the people were living below the poverty line, he said.

After August 15, foreign aid has stopped and foreign reserves have been frozen. Following this point in time, the banking system will no longer be able to function at all. He predicted that this can happen in any country, not only in Afghanistan.
