Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), has stated that 12 million women are beneficiaries of the Ehsaas cash program this year and that more than three-quarters of the total Ehsaas benefits are distributed to women and girls under the Ehsaas 50 percent + benefits policy.

She also stated that the Ehsaas interest-free loans for poverty graduation program aim to reach 14.7 million helpless people in four years, with half of them being women. She also stated that 60 percent of small livelihood assets have been allocated to women under the four-year Ehsaas Aamdan program, enabling approximately 1.4 million people to break free from the shackles of poverty.

The prominent women delegates from Afghanistan expressed their willingness to collaborate on a variety of issues related to their shared ambitions for poverty reduction and women’s empowerment.
