The FIA has arrested the man accused of distributing MPA Sania Ashiq’s recordings on social media.
This individual was caught by the FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing Lahore on Wednesday in Taxila’s Lab Thutthu district.
An FIA spokesman said the Cyber Crime Wing Lahore traced the offender, named as Imran, with the help of the agency’s Rawalpindi circle.
The arrest was made at the request of MPA Sania Ashiq, who had filed a Cyber Crime complaint last month.
He stated that a FIR had been filed against the suspect and an investigation had begun.
On October 26, the Punjab Assembly MPA reported the social media material creator to the FIA.
In her case, she claimed anonymous persons had defamed her on social media.
In her name, threatening calls, third-grade songs on TikTok, and random pieces of vulgar, offensive movies were circulated.
She stated she will follow all legal procedures to identify and disclose such accounts.
