Apple currently offers a number of subscription services, one of which is Apple Music, which is available for purchase. A surprise announcement has made by Apple at the company’s Unleashed event. The event in which it announced the launch of the Apple Music Voice Plan, an additional subscription tier for their music streaming service.
Apple’s new music voice plan priced at $4.99 per month, which is roughly half the amount that Apple charges for its regular Apple Music subscription. But why is it so inexpensive? As you might expect, because it is less expensive than the usual Apple Music membership. There is a catch, and the catch is that you cannot access Apple Music through the Apple Music app on your devices.
This is a pure Siri experience, which means that as long as you own a device that supports Siri. You’ll be able to take advantage of this plan without any restrictions. All of your music and playlists will have controlled entirely by your voice. And you’ll have access to the complete Apple Music catalogue of songs and playlists. Additionally, you will not be able to access key Apple Music features such as Spatial Audio, Lossless music, movies, and lyrics, among others.
It’s an intriguing strategy, however we’re not sure who exactly has targeted by it. For the time being, Apple Music members may already control their subscription through Siri. As well as through gadgets such as the Apple HomePod. Being unable to use the app sounds like it could be extremely inconvenient. But at $4.99, we imagine that some people might consider it to be a worthwhile investment in their time.
