PCB receives meal bills up to Rs 27 lakh for New Zealand team security

A maximum of Rs. 27 lakhs is reimbursed to PCB by the New Zealand squad for food expenditures incurred by security personnel on the team’s behalf.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would suffer significant financial losses as a result of the postponement of two home series against New Zealand and England for a variety of reasons, according to the PCB.

The New Zealand Black Caps, on the other hand, refused to play and flew out of the country when their intelligence agency received a national security threat.

England claimed fatigue and mental health difficulties as the primary reasons for declining to tour Pakistan for the first time in over a decade. Because of the significance of this series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has put up a significant amount of effort. Their disappointment was heightened when the tour was abruptly cancelled.

In the latest news, it has been reported that PCB will incur considerable financial losses as a result of the discontinuation of the television series. The New Zealand Cricket Board is facing a significant financial burden simply to cover the costs of providing for the security personnel hired to protect the team’s travelling companions.
