According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the Karachi will continue to be scorched by the sun, with the maximum temperature reaching as high as 40 degrees centigrade on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
As predicted by the PMD, the ocean winds will not be present on the ground today. While the temperature in the city is currently 31 degrees centigrade (at the time of publication), it is expected to reach a high of 38 to 40 degrees centigrade by midday today.
The Met Office, on the other hand, predicts that the ocean breezes will return starting this evening. After the winds that had been interrupted due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal were restored today, Karachi will likely see some relief starting Friday evening.
