A team from the Pak-Afghan Joint Chambers of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, and addressed issues confronting Afghan businessmen at the Torkham and Chaman crossings, as well as at the Karachi Port.
The ambassador promised the delegation that the Pakistani government will help Afghan merchants fully in order to increase bilateral commerce between the two nations.
The envoy also promised them that impediments in bilateral commerce, Pak-Afghan Transit Trade, banking, and customs will be removed.
He stated that Pakistan was prepared to cooperate with Afghanistan’s forthcoming new administration as well as the business sector to ensure that commerce between the two nations continued uninterrupted.
Khan informed the team that the potential for bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan was limitless and should not be squandered.
The delegation was led by Khan Jan Alkozai, president of the Pak-Afghan Joint Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as Younas Momand, president of the Kabul Chambers of Commerce, Babrak, Khan Muhammad Safi, Naqeeb Safi, and Achakzai.
