Umar Akmal allowed to resume club cricket next month

Pakistani wicket keeper cricketer Umar Akmal has received permission from the PCB to resume club cricket. It has said in a PCB statement on Wednesday.

“Umar Akmal has allowed to resume cricket club activities as part of the rehabilitation process that started last month,” PCB said.

PCB also said, “the decision has taken after Akmal showed remorse and attending an anti-corruption lecture. Also taking question and answer session from the Department of Security and Anti-Corruption.

“His rehabilitation program is expecting to end next month. After which he can participate in Pakistan’s domestic cricket season in 2021-22.
