The PCB has opted to refer the BCCI’s KPL warning to the ICC

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed to heighten the threat to international players of its involvement in the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)

The inaugural edition of the event is scheduled to start in August with six international players.

The PCB said the BCCI again violated international standards and the spirit of the gentleman’s game in a press statement on Saturday.

“The BCCI feels that by sending alerts to various ICC members the BCCI has discredited their former cricketers from the League,” the Board stated. “Such a behaviour of the BCCI against the preamble of the Spirit of cricket is totally unacceptable and stipulates a hazardous precedent that must be accepted or disregarded.
