WhatsApp for IOS Users Adds Multi-Device Compatibility Feature for Beta Users

According to the Report, WhatsApp for IOS users adds WhatsApp Multi-Device compatibility feature for the Beta testers of the app. Two weeks after WABetaInfo determined that multiple WhatsApp device compatibility was imminent, the platform has released version 2.21.150.11 with this feature, which was enabled for some of the app’s beta testers. By using this feature, WhatsApp users can use the WhatsApp Desktop, WhatsApp Web and portal without any Intenet connections on the main smartphone.

“WhatsApp still partially performs user-specific functions, so your WhatsApp account may not be authorized,” reports WABetaInfo.

Users can verify that multi-device is enabled for their WhatsApp account by going to WhatsApp settings and then going to Connected Devices (formerly “WhatsApp Web/Desktop”).

The company recently introduced a new feature that allows users to join a group video or voice call even after it has started and you can see participants on the video call screen just like you would see in various communication apps.

WhatsApp says “Join Call” eases the burden of answering group calls at startup and allows groups calling WhatsApp to have spontaneity and simple face-to-face calls.

If any user in the WhatsApp group misses a call when Smartphone rings they can join the call at any time. You also an option to rejoin the call as the conversation continues after logout.

Currently, WhatsApp group calling allows up to eight participants to video call each other.
