The voice cast of ‘Charlotte‘ is Keira Knightley. In the animated drama which will be debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September the 36-year-old actress will play a leading part.

The film depicts Charlotte Salomon, a young lady who grew up during the second world war and who comes to produce a masterpiece on the other hand.

‘Charlotte’ is the scriptwriting of Erik Rutherford and David Bezmozgis, directed by Eric Warin and Tahir Rana. The drama is inspired by Solomon’s “Life? Or Theatre?” autobiographical series.

Julia Rosenberg, from the January Films team, added: “When she painted over a thousand pieces of her life as a refugee during the war, Charlotte Salomon created pictorial memoirs. Her vigour and amazing skill were too long ignored.
