Pakistan has launched its fourth round of coronavirus. On Tuesday, 2,140 additional cases were recorded according to figures from the National Command and Operational Centre (NCOC).
A total of 40,805 individuals were tested on Monday, the NCOC said, 2 145 of which were positive.
This raises the total positive rating of the country to 5.25%. In Pakistan in the last 24 hours 36 individuals died of the disease.
Since the pandemic began a total of 993,872, including 49,929 active cases, has been affected with coronavirus infections in Pakistan.
921,095 individuals recovered from the disease in terms of recovery, whereas 22848 perished from the infection.
Dr Faisal Sultan feels that in a ‘closed, limited’ setting Eidul Adha should be commemorated.
