Xiaomi will soon launch its assembly unit in Pakistan

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is all set to start its local assembly in Pakistan in the near future. Built-in three to four months, this new prefabricated unit will enlarge the local production area for smartphones and create jobs in the country.
Pakistan is a local market of 40 million smartphone users. Moreover, Pakistan is currently importing large numbers of mobile phones to cover the size of its market. The local production unit of one of the leading smartphone brands will be a great development to save foreign currency when importing smartphones.

As one of the leading smartphone and AIoT brands in the country. Xiaomi has a large and growing customer base in Pakistan along with Oppo, Vivo, Tecno, and Realme.

Moreover, it is important to note that Realme also recently announced the opening of a local assembly plant in Lahore. In trials of a local production line in Lahore, the system has led to significant price reductions for some of the company’s products.

Affordable technology products are the hallmark of Xiaomi and the main reason for its growing demand. The local environment of a tech giant like Xiaomi will surely attract foreign direct investment. This will have a strong socio-economic impact.
