Kamyab Pakistan Program To be launched In coming days: Tarin

The government decided to launch the ‘Kamyab Pakistan Program’ in July, which offers numerous opportunities, including small loans for businesses, farmers, families, health cards, and technical training under the program.

According to the details, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin chaired a meeting on the program today that was attended by the SAPM for Youth Affairs, Usman Dar, head of the National Bank, and other government officials.

At the meeting it was decided: Housing projects, skills development, health cards, easy loans, and agricultural services will be presented under the banner of the ‘Kamyab Pakistan Program.’

Speaking at the time, the Finance Minister said that the government has allocated billions of rupees for this project where interest-free loans of up to Rs500,000 will be given to four million poor families.

Moreover, “Farmers will receive interest-free loans to improve harvesting and other business opportunities,” said Shaukat Tarin, adding that people in the provinces would also have universal health coverage.

“This is the largest social welfare initiative launched by the government in office,” he said, adding that one person in a family would receive free technical education, while a low-cost housing scheme would also be part of this multidimensional initiative.

Speaking at the meeting, Usman Dar said that all Pakistanis could take advantage of the program directly. “We finalized the financing modes with the finance minister and we would launch the program in the next few days,” he said.

Earlier, the finance minister said the prime minister had a vision of turning Pakistan into a welfare state. He also stated that the prime minister wanted to raise living standards for disadvantaged people in the country.

To achieve this goal, the government follows a multifaceted strategy. The country’s deserving people are being supported through a money transfer program.
