Microsoft is hosting its biggest product Window 11 launch event in decades. Today, CEO Satya Nadela, along with Panos Panay, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer, the face of the Surface line, will take the stage to announce the “next generation of Windows” – virtually, of course.
Windows 11, as may be the official name of the successor to Windows 10, is currently the biggest in technology.
We already know a lot about the new version of Windows thanks to the leaked Windows 11 ISO file on the internet. Will Windows 11 be a free update? Rebuilding Windows Store is part of Windows 11? We will find all the answers for tomorrow’s launch event. Here’s what you can expect from the Microsoft Windows 11 event.
Microsoft Window 11 event Guidelines
The live stream of Microsoft events for Windows 11 begins today at 8:30 pm EST / 11:00 am ET. To view the event.
If you want to view this event you can visit Window Events page on Microsoft website. Anyone can follow the event live if they have access to a smartphone or laptop.
Live video feeds work in all major browsers – Safari, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Microsoft still not added this event on YouTube platform.
The new design, if it consists of an outdated version, can be seen from the boot screen. The overall interface could look similar to Windows 10X, which Microsoft demonstrated in 2019 for dual-screen devices.
Additionally, a new download menu and a completely redesigned taskbar are shown in the out-of-date compilation.
Microsoft Windows Event 2021: What to expect?
As mentioned earlier, Microsoft expected to showcase the Windows 11 desktop operating system at an upcoming event. Windows 11 expects a major upgrade over the existing Windows 10 operating system.
According to a recent report, Windows 11 will include a redesigned user interface, a new start menu, and a redesigned taskbar. Reports also suggest that Windows 11 expected to be closer to Windows 10X, which the company has discontinued.
Reports also show that Windows 11 is a free download for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 users. Users running their devices on Windows 8 must first upgrade to Windows 8.1 to get the update for free.
A new version of Windows released at an unusual time for the tech industry. Despite the dearth of chips and other consumables, analysts predict that laptops and desktops may hit their highest sales.
In many ways, this will make Windows the answer to the new hybrid work life that many are now pushing.
However, we don’t think that Windows 11 will be available anytime soon. Given the operating system’s out-of-date initial state, the official version of Windows 11 is likely to arrive in a few months – possibly October when the rest of Windows has started.
However, we were able to get information about whether Windows 11 will be a free upgrade, as well as what versions there will be and possibly minimum specs.
