The administration is now taking significant efforts to address the threat of climate change, according to Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan from Balochistan.

In his message on World Environment Day, he said that a clean environment is the guarantee for a healthy society and that protecting the environment is a national responsibility for all of us.

Jam Kamal added that work is underway to switch the brick kilns to a zigzag pattern and move mining crushing plants outside the city to reduce air pollution.

He also said approval had been given to establish a state-of-the-art environmental assessment and testing laboratory at the Hub.

The prime minister said solid waste disposal projects were initiated in four districts in the province.
