The Nigerian government has banned Twitter in the country indefinitely. The ban came after a social media site deleted a tweet from Nigerian President Mohammadu Bukhari.

At this point it should be mentioned that Twitter deleted the president’s tweet and thus violated the rules and regulations of the social website.

President Bukhari has used threatening words about his enemies in the controversial tweet.
