Badminton Star Mahoor will Represent Pakistan in Tokyo Olympics 2021

Pakistani badminton start Mahoor Shehzad will represent Pakistan in upcoming Tokyo Olympics in Japan.

The Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Badminton Federation confirmed this news about participation of Mahoor Shahzad in Tokyo Olympics 2021.

POA President Syed Arif Hassan congratulated and wished her luck for Olympics.

“She deserves to participate in the Olympics,” he said. 

“My dream has come true. I can’t believe I will represent Pakistan in the Olympics. I will live up to expectations and raise the green crescent flag,” Mahoor said.

Mahoor shahzad is on the list of top 100 Badminton players and she had a chance to participate in international events; but she couldn’t take part due to COVID-19.


No doubt, it is really a big and deserving opportunity for Mahoor, as she is among the top 100 Badminton players of the World.


While talking to media she said “I always knew there was no shortcut to hard work and so I have worked hard enough to achieve this milestone”

“Every day is a struggle and I’m working extremely hard to represent Pakistan in Tokyo next summer,” she added.
