Tajikistan’s president will visit Pakistan tomorrow at the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan

Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a two-day visit.. He visited at the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri reported on the Tajik President’s visit on Twitter on Tuesday.

In a statement, Chaudhry said that Pakistan and Tajikistan have close brotherly relations based on shared beliefs, history and cultural ties.During the visit, Prime Minister Khan and President Rahmon will hold delegation-level talks from their respective countries.

The president of Tajikistan has visited Pakistan seven times since 1994. The visit will strengthen both sides’ efforts to build long-term, multi-dimensional relations, a State Department spokesman said.

The two countries will exchange views on deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields, including politics, economy, trade, investment, energy, security and defense, culture, education, and regional connectivity.
