Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must return to the country. He said the government would guard him and protect him.

On Sunday night he was asked about the news of the former Prime Minister’s attack in London, and he replied that there was no safer place for Nawaz Sharif than a prison to be safe and look after him.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan based his policy on justice and would not deviate from his values. Regarding the attack itself, he said that “there is no information about the attack carried out by Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif in London because we are in Pakistan and he is in London.”
