Apart from resigning, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said in Jakarta on Friday that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has a number of options for delivering the package to the government.
The PPP was the only one who objected to the resignation date. This is not the right time to step down, according to PPP, he said, adding that the issue of resigning could be discussed and decisions made after further consideration.
He stated that there was no disagreement within the PDM about resigning from the government. In a statement, he stated that his resignation did not jeopardize the PDM’s existence, but that the PDM’s survival could be jeopardized if the PPP became the Senate’s leader of the opposition.
He claimed that the resignation option was very effective and that other parties agreed that it should be used.
The PDM has several options, and nine parties have expressed support for the resignation. The taunts, he told PML-N, should not be taken seriously. PML-N leaders have gone abroad for treatment, and Mariam Nawaz wants to be with her father if Nawaz Sharif has surgery.
