According to Bloomberg, Facebook plans to reopen offices to start personal work again in May after working remotely for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, announced a remote work plan at the start of the pandemic.
He promising that about half of its employees could work remotely in the next five to ten years. But until then personal work, at least with limited capacity, in the future company.
Uber hopes to return to his personal work soon. According to Reuters, the travel sharing company will reopen its headquarters in Mission Bay, San Francisco on March 29 with a limited capacity of 20 percent.
Uber plans to comply with similar restrictions on COVID-19 such as Facebook, which requires facial care, routine cleaning and asking employees with family members who are sick to stay at home.
Prior to this resumption plan, Uber left its employees to work from home until mid-September 2021.
Google and Microsoft are looking for a hybrid working model for the future. Microsoft will open its headquarters in Redmond, Washington on March 29. The company also expects part-time work from home to become a standard for all office workers.
Google’s plans are less secure and the company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Verge. But said in 2020 that employees can work from home until September 2021.
There is a need to investigate the requirement that employees only work three days a week in private.

Apple did not respond when asked to expand the return to a personal work plan. However, it reports that the company ordered a number of employees to return to their offices in May 2020.
There is still a risk of working indoors with other people. The vaccinations do not guarantee the virus cannot transmit.
As the return of businesses to “normal” working conditions will look like a pandemic. It is unlikely that remote work will lose any time soon.
