The England’s reopening of schools for all students on Monday marked the first step back to normal. It was only possible due to public efforts to reduce the rate of COVID-19 infection, said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Johnson announced a roadmap for lifting the lockdown measures, opening schools first, followed by further steps to gradually ease restrictions on socialising. Also the opening of non-essential shops and other premises.

Therefore, In the final phase which will take place as early as June 21, the government hopes to lift all other legal restrictions on contact with other parties.

“Reopening schools is a truly by national effort to defeat the virus,” said Johnson.

“With the determination of everyone in this country, we can move closer to a first step towards normality. It is true that the return of our young people to class is the first step”, he added.

Hence, Each step on the roadmap will depend on the number of COVID-19 cases, the government said. Through the vaccination program he hope that this pandemic will overcome and vaccination doses provided to nearly 22 million people.

However, Many schools and colleges have started inviting their students for their first COVID-19 tests, the results of which are rapid. The test had covered up to 1 million people said by the government.

Therefore, After the initial three tests in place, students receive two tests that they can take at home each week. As, nearly 57 million tests had conducted at schools and colleges across the country.
