Lahore’s CTD arrests four Al-Qaeda members

The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday apprehended four Al-Qaeda members and seized their weapons and ammunition in addition to their bodies.

A representative for the organization stated that “they were planning an attack against law enforcement organizations in the city.”

The raid was conducted out by the Punjab CTD in the Green Fort region, which is close to Monalwal. Four males, identified as Muhammad Mushtaq, Sami Ullah, Adil Jamal, and Usama Khalid, were apprehended during a raid this morning in the early hours of the morning.

Security officials from the CTD removed safety fuses, IED bombs, and other equipment from the terrorists’ possession. The suspects in the terror plot have been taken into custody and sent to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. An FIR has been filed against them by the authorities.
