The Lahore district administration has agreed to set up check-points for the spread of the new coronavirus in 24 areas.
Free masks and hand toilets will be distributed to people at checkpoints. Police personnel are also advised to vaccinate individuals against the fatal infection.
The posts are to be installed in the vicinity of bus stations, large stores and highways like Liberty, Mall Road, G-1 Market or Ichhra.
The move has been made to stop the lock-down in the town according to Captain Muhammad Usman of Lahore.
“All preventative efforts must be taken to prevent disagreeable decisions.”
At checkpoints officials would inform the loudspeaker about the Covid-19 SOPs.
