Lahore Development Authority (LDA) allows the restaurant to use the adjoining for outdoor
“On Tuesday, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) allowed restaurants to use an adjoining area, which is under LDA jurisdiction, for outdoor dining during the ongoing pandemic.”LDA
In a statement, LDA said it had allowed restaurants to use the front and back for meals at the December 3 and 9 meetings.
However, the permit stipulates that restaurants may not establish permanent structures in this area and are responsible for parking and traffic flow.
These grants are temporary due to the pandemic situation and can be withdrawn if the government issues a different notification.
The government had previously closed three restaurants in Karachi in violation of standard coronavirus operating procedures.
