L.A. County will mandate masks indoors as coronavirus cases rise

The county of Los Angeles requires once more all the inhabitants to wear face masks after new occurrences of the Covid Delta variant surge in hospitalizations.

The Los Angeles County Ministry of Public Health said: “The mask is required for anyone in public and inside, regardless of immunisation, so we can halt the rising level of transmission we see.”

There are 10 million inhabitants in Los Angeles County. The second-largest city of the nation is Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Officer of Health Dr. Muntu Davis said the county became a site for “significant” Covid’s transmissions based on standards defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on Thursday.

In the meanwhile, Sacramento of California and the provinces of Fresno urged the wear of masks indoors, including vaccinated persons.
