The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to launch nine new welfare projects under Prime Minister Ehsas’ program, with a focus on establishing shelter, rehabilitation, and care centers for drug addicts and educational facilities for students with disabilities.
According to the Center for Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation at the Peshawar Department of Social Welfare, Dr. Amjad Khan will set up twelve new detox and rehabilitation centers for the treatment of drug addicts in various regions at an estimated cost of four hundred and fifty million rupees.
