King Charles III’s palace staff ‘worried’ about royal future

According to reports, King Charles has made his palace staff increasingly concerned about their futures in the royal family, amid rumours that the new monarch will even dismiss the late Queen Elizabeth’s long-term staff. This has apparently caused the staff to feel increasingly anxious.

According to a story in The Sun, there are approximately 491 full-time employees working throughout the three palaces. Prince Charles, who is 74 years old, is likely to lay off personnel from not only Windsor Palace but also other royal properties, including Buckingham Palace and Balmoral.

According to anonymous sources who spoke to Mirror UK about the King’s rumoured plans for the future of the monarchy, “Royal servants are very worried about their futures and fear that they could be out of work by the new year.”

According to a close source within the royal family who spoke to the magazine, “It’s a tremendously challenging period.” Many people have already reconciled themselves to the idea that they will have to quit occupations that they have loved for many years. The workforce now has a palpable feeling of dread as a result of it.

It has also been said that King Charles wants to open the royal homes to the public more often than ever before. This comes at the same time that it has been said that renovation work costing an estimated $650 million has already started.
