Khawaja Asif says the defence ministry informed GHQ about Shahbaz’s letter

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Monday that the GHQ has been told that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s letter about a new chief of army staff has been sent to the Ministry of Defense.


Asif told the National Assembly, “The procedure will take two to three days.” “After the frenzy ends, we’ll deal with Imran Khan.”
Today, the minister said on Twitter that the process to choose the next army chief and CJCSC chairman has started.
The defence minister stated fake news was disseminated about the army chief’s appointment.
