The Matrix Resurrections star, Keanu Reeves gave free tickets to the movie premiere in December to his crew colleagues and friends. He brought his whole team to the film’s global premiere in San Francisco last month. Keanu arranged their private jet journey, hotel accommodations, and premiere tickets.
Friend and John Wick director Chad Stahelski was one of Keanu Reeves’ invitees. He stated, “He brought a number of us up here. He’s a very generous person in my opinion. Many individuals who supported him along the way will be in the audience. From his martial arts instructors to jiu-jitsu instructors to hair and makeup artists to his stunt team. He ensures that everyone he cares about is present. I love him. He’s amazing.”
This isn’t Keanu Reeves first time including a film’s cast and crew in the celebrations and movie premiere. During the filming of The Matrix Reloaded in 2003, he notably provided Harley Davidson motorbikes to the stunt performers on set. A few weeks ago, he gifted his forthcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 stunt team with high-end Rolex Submariner watches.
This is the fourth instalment in the renowned Matrix series. Keanu Reeves has previously appeared in three films as a leading man. With Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris and Priyanka Chopra Jonas joining the cast. Lana Wachowski’s film also reunites him with Carrie-Anne Moss. Even though there was a lot of anticipation for the film’s premiere. The box office take has disappointingly low at $107 million against a $190 million budget.
