As she hailed the reopening of Wimbledon following the coronavirus lockdown, Kate Middleton said it was great to see spectators and players back inside the grounds.
The Duchess of Cambridge took to Instagram to say, “Wimbledon has returned. It’s incredible to see fans and players returning within these famous grounds after the event was forced to be canceled last year.”
She also commended the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC) for its outstanding community service. “Through Wingfield Kitchen, they were able to serve 200 hot meals each day, for a year, to people in need,” read a post on the official Instagram page of the “Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
