Kanye West broke silence after losing partnerships worth $2 Billion

The American rapper Kanye West has responded to the news that he is losing a number of top partnerships as a result of his anti-Semitic comments. These partnerships include those with Adidas, talent agency CAA, film and television programming company MRC and luxury fashion label Balenciaga.

Kanye West wrote after losing partnerships, “Ari Emanuel. I lost $2 billion in one day. And I’m still alive. This is a lecture on love. I still adore you. You are not beyond God’s love. I am not defined by my financial situation. The people are who I am.”

This tweet comes only a few days after the CEO of Endeavor Ari Emanuel everyone to quit doing business with West. Prominent players in the entertainment world have pushed businesses that collaborate with Kanye West to sever their links. These heavyweights include Emanuel and Bob Gersh, who heads the Gersh Agency.

Moreover, on Twitter, West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian also published a brief comment. Whereas, she said, “Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and demand an immediate halt to the horrific violence and cruel speech that has been directed at them.
