Juhi Chawla Files Plea in Delhi High court against 5G Launching in India

Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, who ran Hindi cinemas between the late 1980s and early 2000s, files plea in the Delhi High Court on Monday against the introduction of a 5G mobile network in the country. The trials scheduled for Wednesday.

Environmental activist Juhi Chawla sued the Delhi high Court on Monday over the creation of a 5G radio network in the country. He raising questions about radiation exposure to citizens, animals, flora and fauna.

Judge C Harry Shankar, before whom the question was raised before the trial. He transferred the case to another hearing on 2 June.

Chawla said if the telecommunications industry’s plans for 5G materialize, no human, animal, bird, insect or plant on earth will able to avoid exposed to RF levels 24 hours a day, 365 days a year 10x to 100x higher than today.

“These 5G plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems,” she said.

Lawyer Juhi Chawla Deepak Hosla said a class action lawsuit has filed against the introduction of 5G networks in the country. “Studies show that radiation causes great damage to the human body,” he added.

Chawla’s lawyer said the government commissioned studies in 2015 and 2018. The authorities should wait for the results of those studies before rolling out 5G in the country. “The government has no legs to stand on if it approves the rollout of 5G,” lawyer Chaula told India Today.

Lawyers added that they wanted the Supreme Court to suspend the rollout of 5G and open further investigations into it. He added that the World Health Organization’s (WHO) research on the matter was not credible. Because it admits that it funded telecommunications companies.

The complaint filed by lawyer Deepak Hosla aims to ask the authorities to confirm publicly. The 5G technology is effective for humanity, men, women, adults, children, babies, animals. This contains all living organisms, flora and fauna for sure.

During the test, the implementation of 5G in the Indian environment will be tested. This includes telemedicine, tele-education and drone-based surveillance. Telecom operators can test various 5G devices on their networks.

According to DoT, 5G technology should provide ten times better download speeds than 4G. This is up to three times higher spectrum efficiency than 4G.
