Journalist and blogger Asad Toor was brutally attacked by unidentified men at his home in Islamabad on Tuesday night.
The attackers broke into the Asad Toor home and beat him savagely. The Islamabad SSP was commissioned by Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry to investigate the incident.
Surveillance footage shows three masked men leaving the Asad Toor home after assaulting him. Asad Toor is hospitalized. In the video you see the injured Asad Toor leaving the apartment with his hands and feet tied and screaming for help.

The attack on journalist Asad Toor is despicable, said PML-N spokesman Marium Aurangzeb, calling on the government not to prove journalists’ safety in the country.
He said the government should ensure the safety of journalists rather than lecturing to protect journalists. The government failed to bring the suspect to court, said, Marium Aurangzeb.
