With the debut of its network last week Joanna Gaines is reflecting the history of her family while she and her husband Chip Gaines are expanding their Magnolia brand.
The 43-year-old “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home” talked about how Hoda Kotb came from South Korea to the US at the age of 19 years and did not know any English. The show “The Hoda Show” was shown by Hoda Kotb.
“When everything began to unfold a couple of years ago in 2014 [Chip and I] were at this lounge area looking over Central Park, we took in a second, and we both began to weep,” revealed the design icon.
Saying, Joanna, “With all that she has gone through — difficulty, struggle — I think for her, it’s like that for both of us, ‘Mom, you put me up beautifully. I don’t think so, Mom. You set me up nicely for your enthusiasm for the manner that you battled for this, and now I’m living in that wake.””
