Jhang assistant commissioner was shot and killed In Chiniot

Imran Jaffer Warbho, the assistant commissioner of Jhang, was allegedly shot and killed by a relative in Chiniot on Sunday because of a family feud.

According to the news channel, the incident occurred within the confines of the Langrana police station’s jurisdiction. Imran Jaffer, according to reports, had returned to his village of Bada Langrana in the Chiniot District.

The victim was involved in a quarrel with the sons of his paternal uncle over a sewer drain. He was allegedly shot to death by his cousin Sohail Verbho and a group of his associates, according to police.


In order to complete the necessary medical and legal procedures, the body has been transferred to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Bhawana. A large number of police officers have arrived to track down the culprit and begin an inquiry into the incident.

In a targeted killing in the Gulistan-e-Johar neighborhood on December 1, Irfan Mehr, the secretary of the Sindh Bar Council and a prominent lawyer was shot and killed by assailants.

In the course of their preliminary inquiry, the police discovered that they had suspected that the incident was the result of a targeted killing.

Leading lawyer Naeem Qureshi, along with a large number of other lawyers, raced to the scene and transported the injured man to a nearby medical facility. His death was confirmed upon arrival at the hospital.

According to the authorities, the target killers opened fire on Irfan several times before fleeing the scene without putting up any sort of fight.
