Jennifer Aniston reveals what she believes is why fans are obsessed with her character Rachel Green’s affair with Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer, on Friends.
The actress recently said in an interview with Today: “I think there’s something in unrequited love and really invested in it.”
Jennifer Aniston added that her cooking chemistry with Schwimmer also played a key role in getting her fans to invest heavily in the big-screen couple.
“We love one another even today, so I believe that’s something to do with this,” she added. “They have something to do with it, I suppose.
“And you’re investing in something that’s very connected: what you never had or what you wanted, but you couldn’t put it together,” Jennifer Aniston concludes.
During their appearance at a gathering with friends, David and Jennifer admitted that they fell in love while filming the show.
